Matthew D’Ambrosio is an articling student who brings a distinct blend of international legal training and extensive corporate experience in real estate development. Known for his strategic foresight, Matthew offers comprehensive insight into complex construction, development, and corporate law matters.

Matthew began his legal career in Australia, earning his license from the Supreme Court of Queensland. He gained experience as In-House Counsel and Legal & Contract Officer, managing contract vetting and dispute resolutions. He also worked at a leading construction and infrastructure law firm in Brisbane, where he conducted in-depth legal research.

In Canada, Matthew has gained robust experience in the real estate and construction sector, having served as a Legal Affairs Officer for builders. His experience includes drafting and vetting complex trade contracts (including CCDC standard agreements), managing joint venture and shareholder agreements, and executing thorough risk assessment analyses for low-rise residential projects. Further strengthening his expertise, Matthew earned a Certificate in Construction Law from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School. 

Matthew is known for his pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to risk management, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution. He holds a Juris Doctor from Bond University and an NCA Certificate of Qualification.
